My 2002 4Runner had a break-in attempt over the holidays. My key would not even unlock the door to see what was missing. I could see that my glove box was wide open.
I called Burien Toyota who had been my "go to" dealer for over 10 years.
Over phone, service desk admitted that " store that makes keys for us is closed for next 3 days".

Two things 1. Are their keys then truly Toyota keys??
2. Knowing my plight, why didn't they refer me to another dealer??

Knowing Toyota of Seattle was right across West Seattle bridge on Airport Way, I headed there.

Man, it was an eye-opener as to what customer service can be:
I was greeted at door
Greeter left her desk to walk me back to the Parts Dept
Parts Dept explained they do make Toyota keys on site but....(and I love this part)
they required I show photo ID, produce current registration to match ownership with ID
Icing on cake, during 30 minute wait, they had a free ESPRESSO machine !!

There's my 5 star rating of Toyota of Seattle
