Our first visit to VRCC was in 2009 when Victor, our miniature schnauzer, began getting large cysts all over his body. When he didn't respond to antibiotics, our vet referred us to VRCC. The specialist at VRCC quickly diagnosed sterile paniculitis as the cause of the cysts, and treated with steroids, with follow-up for the next two years.
Following a recent bout of recurrent colitis this summer (2015), we were again referred to VRCC, and the internal medicine specialist, who saw him for his paniculitis, is treating him again.
We have always been impressed the professionalism of all the staff at VRCC, from the front desk to the doctors, their expertise in diagnostics, and their concern for treating Victor. We are grateful that VRCC is available to us 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
