My new agent is EXTREMELY helpful in her suggestions and in planning for my best interest. I do not expect her to stay in touch and remember my birthday but I do expect her to return my calls and to stay abreast of all new and pertinent changes.
I had the same agent since I started Supplemental insurance in 2011 and at first he was attentive and was an advocate in our corner WHEN I called him and asked for help. He NEVER called me to suggest a better plan. On one occasion, the hospital messed up on a hid-a-scan and charged double after they said they would not. I reported it to my agent and he said $2500.00 was not worth reporting to the insurance co. I should have reported it anyway but I didn't. Of course the records are still there.
