My daughter just finished her first semester. Overall, I would not recommend this school. While the campus is beautiful, the accommodations are extremely unsanitary. The drug culture is highly prevalent and it doesn't appear as if it's being monitored. The sororities still practice hazing for membership. After they use and abuse their pledges, they accept little to no new members. Unfortunately, my daughter had a professor who was clearly unapologetically rascist. I've never, in all my schooling, had a professor grade every paper with a personal insult attached. I highly regret enrolling my daughter in this school. From what I've witnessed, the majority of the academics (with exception of that professor) are decent. At best I would suggest if your not in the veterinary program or in the private pay dorm (Catskill) it's best to live off campus.
