My father, with dementia, was treated terribly.
My father, with dementia, was treated terribly.
1st Er visit they sent him home even though he still couldn t walk. I shouldn t have taken him
There again. Finally admitted the next day, he was ok but declined with a couple of days...I m hearing from visitors that came when we weren t around, were abruptly told to leave and couldn t come back because he has to be changed embarrassing him.
The night nurses yelled at him and
Within 3 days he stopped eating and then they lied to us about the rehab facility and what they would do for him just to get him out of there. Another disaster! But the social worker didn t want to Do more work and look for a better facility.
She then signed the release form where family was supposed to sign because my mother told her she wouldn t sign until I got there to translate what she was signing.
I saw nurses being yelled at by supervisors and other nurses angry and throw tantrums
They don t care about the patients
My father will to survive and his dignity dies there.
If I had gone to a different hospital, my father would still be with us.
If I was bleeding out right in front of their doors, i wouldn t go there!!
