Sounds like Dr. Loftus himself is indeed a good doctor and according to some reviews a nice person too, however, I don't know for sure as the staff didn't let me see him and he was not around when I was mistreated by his staff.
I had my first appointment scheduled today, I arrived as instructed 15 minutes early, just to realize I'd be given a pile of papers to sign.
I do tend to read before I sign and I spotted a semi-hidden clause asking me to commit to pay $100 every time I'd want to reschedule a visit in the future. I politely refused to sign that. The office manager said that if I don't commit to all additional fees this clinic requires, she can't let me see the doctor.
She also revealed some confidential information about the doctor's home address but that didn't surprise me as this clinic has absolutely no information security practices or respect to confidentiality.
I was denied treatment just because I refused to commit so some hideous policy about future appointments. There is another review here, by one of his patients stating that Dr. Loftus charged her more than $300 for rescheduling an appointment.
Unfortunately, they couldn't care less about my loss of time and money today and the fact that I showed up as instructed.
I would expect an apology but the office manager, who called me several times previously with confusing information, seems like she doesn't know what she's doing and I'll pass on their apology as long as I don't hear from her again.
Please read carefully what they let you sign, either over email or in person.
This clinic shall be investigated for HIPAA violations. As stated in several other comments, this practice seems to be lying left and right so I'd be careful if I were you.
