My MacBook had a minor problem that was covered in an Apple Quality Program. I made an appointment with Smart Technology Services because the shop was very close to me. I called in upfront, confirmed that they regularly followed Apple protocols, and brought my laptop in. The experience was pleasant and efficient -- the staff knew exactly what they were doing and made sure to utilize all resources they had available to solve the customers' problems. Mine in particular was timing - they closely followed up on the shipment of the part they ordered for my repairs and kept clear, prompt communication with me so that I got my repairs done in time while having maximum flexibility to access my computer. They are kind, well-informed, capable and resourceful -- an absolute delight to work with.
