Described by one of our party as "deeply average" - we'd booked for a decadent celebratory brunch, but left distinctly underwhelmed. It took forever for the food - or the bill - to arrive, and it was clear that many of the dishes had been hanging around waiting to be collected; toast was evidently cooked and then left under a heat lamp, an omelette was rock hard by the time it hit the table. Quality control on ingredients was poor, with several people being served completely unripe avocados. They even serve lattes in those tall, thick, conical glasses last seen in Baileys adverts in the 1990s, with spoons that don't reach the bottom. Apparently the kippers were nice though. If you're looking for something which feels a little bit special, or even for a top quality meal, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
