What a fantastic way to access the Tignes Val d'Isere ski circuit whilst on a reasonable budget. Chardon's is a wonderfully friendly chalet staff led by Tracey. Food is always exceptional with a fine breakfast choice and massive evening meal, not forgetting the afternoon tea and cakes.
Staff were helpful in arranging ski hire and ski pass so I was ready to go as soon as I arrived. The chalet caters for saisonaires and single clients who have to be prepared to share a room. Rooms are basic with bunk beds ensuite shower facilities in most rooms, but they do the job.
The clients are also incredibly friendly with many returning year after year, as I have also done recently. The company also run other chalets such as the Hattiers at a slightly higher price and neater accommodation but the same high quality food.
There are always some areas for improvement but the these are massively outweighed by the pluses.
