Needed a water heater replacement called on a Sun...

Needed a water heater replacement called on a Sunday and was told a tech would contact in the afternoon, call from office said no tech available untill Monday. Not bad but not as advertised 24-7 service. Techs showed on Monday at 10.30 am. Discussed options with quotes. The techs were knowledgeable but very arrogant. They wanted 856 .00 to install a heater I purchased, with minimal labor ( old heater was already removed) and no warranty because I did not purchase the heater from them them, both items were Rheem with same warranty and size. Priced a tankless 1600.00 heater and with installation with filtering in the line was quoted at 6000.00. WOW. I am sure the work would have been done on time and professionally. Also a Rheem heater provided by them was quoted at 3000.00 with installation. I purchased a Rheem at HD with same warranty and size for 1075.00. Tech claimed his Rheem was much better .The tech defended the crazy prices by telling me how great he was and how much he needed to make a living too, and the company need to make money also. He claimed he was educated like a doctor. Consequently I hired another plumber who installed my provided heater for 350.00 same day with two men doing the job.
