Airbnb is a great idea and I was excited to try a new place. However after sending in copies of my Passport and Driver license my account was setup and verified. When I went to reserve a room I was told I needed to provide a copy of my Bank Statement to prove the Credit Card was actually mine. This is absolutely ridiculous considering my ID, Address and Billing information all match, I have never had any hotel ask for my Bank Statement. I'll stick with real hotels then.
