Counting semesters and institutions abroad, this is my sixth university. Perfectly adequate. A fair number of freshmen are stupid and/or lazy, which makes them frustrating. It also means lower divisional courses tend to be a bit forgiving as the profs try to wean the babies. My EE classes are very challenging, but they should be. There is the occasional crappy professor, but that's normal; others are excellent.

The biggest pleasant surprise has been extracurriculars. The head of the Chinese space agency was here giving a seminar a few weeks ago! Reasonably big name speakers show up every year for interesting topics, like cryptography and surveillance or cybernetics.
