Came up for a Labor Day vacation - we had booked the tee time about two weeks earlier. No indication that they were aerating the greens when we booked; they still charged the same rates. Disappointed at paying $105 for a course with poor greens. It's probably about a $65 course with aerated greens. (Edit/Correction: we played Twisted Dunes the next day (Sunday) - a much more interesting course, in much better shape with better greens, for about $68 per player).

Two other comments:

(1) we spent a lot of time repairing divots and ball marks. What is it about golfers at public courses that leads them to believe that leaving the course better than you found it is beneath them?

(2) As there are memberships available here, it looks like they'll let members play in fivesomes or sixsomes (we saw both). No idea what happens if you're behind them...

We live in MD, so this was about a two hour drive. We will come back to NJ to play again, but will never play BHP again. Again, Twisted Dunes was a much better course and a much better value!
