My family and I drove from out of town to check in...

My family and I drove from out of town to check into the Delta- we had booked in advance for months and were very much looking forward to our stay. Upon arrival we were asked for a credit card, my husband had forgotten his at home and I do not have one- we asked if we could put the card on file but without it physically on us ,we could not -which is understandable.
I had asked if we could do a deposit instead ,as Ive never had any issue in other hotels ,even if its a larger deposit.

The manager came to speak to us but was extremely condescending and rude and told us we should know better as we had gotten emails about our stay multiple times , I had never received any emails that said we were not able to check in without a physical card - we felt she treated us very poorly and as if we didn t belong there (my husband is heavily tattooed)

After a few minutes of discussing all options with zero flexibility on her end for working something out ,we left with our kids and all our bags

Very disappointed with the lack of compassion and flexibility to your guests and the poor communication skills your manager had - we will never be back to your hotel because of the way you treated us
