The staff and response to phone calls from this store is less than useless. There are only 3 of these stores in London and to have to travel across London to find if an item is in stock is not feasible. So the best thing to do is call, right?? Wrong!! Not Decathalon. I tried to call the water sports department for over 2 hours, no one answered. Finally I pressed several other numbers from one of the other 9 options and finally got through to someone. They were quite helpful and said they would take my number and get someone from their watersports department to call me back. 2 hours later and I am still waiting. My window of opportunity to travel across London to the store is now over, that's if they have the item in stock. Unless they confirm they have this item, I can't waste my time crossing London for it. I need the product for tomorrow, so mail order is not going to work. How can such a big store survive with such ineffectual and useless customer support.
