Within a week of ending a previous internship, Whitman placed me in a great temp position and shortly after that I was placed in a full-time position with the help of Whitman. Prior to temping with Whitman, I had met with a number of staffing agencies and none came close to competing with their service. The employees at Whitman are genuinely interested in your success and placing you somewhere that fits, they take the time to fully understand your goals and interests, and refer you to jobs that seem to be a good fit. Additionally, Whitman works with great employers that are incredibly professional and respected in the DC area. Most importantly, Whitman maintains contact with you throughout the entire process, this can't be said for all staffing agencies. They contact you when a position opens, set up an interview for you, and provide feedback from interviewers after you meet with them. There were weeks where I would hear from Julie almost daily as she worked tirelessly to help find me the right job. I can't thank Whitman enough for all their hard work and placing me with such a great employer!
