I suggest if anyone can avoid this hotel, please do. It took us almost 20 minutes just to pull the car in so that we could check in, as we were blocked by a valet driver who was showing off a Porsche he was supposed to be parking and a Wyndham van dropping off guests who poured into the parking lot. These were blocking all other vehicles entering or leaving, causing a backup in the front parking lot as well as cars stuck in Harbor Blvd. Once we could finally pull in and my husband walked off to check in, the valet then proceeded to snap at me and lecture me about why I did not have a spare set of keys to give him. He actually tried to block my entry into the hotel lobby while I tried get the keys from my husband. I was afforded less than a minute of speaking with my husband when he stormed over to me. From what I can tell, this particular valet has been a problem in the past and will be "talked to". There was no emotion in our apologies for this behavior.
Once we received our room, we were then placed in a lovely room in "tower one" on the second floor facing the harbor that had no sound proofing. Every car door slam, every person shouting, every car alarm, and even just cars driving by were heard loud and clear through the glass. In addition to this, we could hear loud conversations held in the lobby and hallway through the door to our room.
