I wish there was a way to do a minus stars because...
I wish there was a way to do a minus stars because your customer service department is a joke. My husband called and cancelled our service the first of Oct and he was told I would have to call and cancel because the account was in my name. I promptly called and was told I would have to sign a request so they faxed it to me and it was sent back the same day. I had the monthly payment pulled from my account in Oct and again in November. I called and discussed this with them and was told I did not call in like they told my husband I needed to. I asked them to look at the notes in my file and they said that I did call that same day but that I did not fill out and send them the paper I had to sign. Again, I asked them to look at the notes in the file. They said yes that they had received the signed request the same day as both phone calls but that I would have to talk to their other department and this department is conveniently closed. I would have to call back. I called them back again in December and talked to each department as instructed, they assured me that I would be receiving a refund in 10 to 12 days and assured me that they are all "trained" in handling this matter. Six days later the monthly bill was once again taken from my account. I called today and was told that they are "trained" in this matter but I would have to talk to another department and they are closed so I will have to call back on Thursday. I asked to talk to a supervisor who is also "trained" in this matter. What a joke. I have been off contract and on a month to month for a very long time so this can't be the problem. I asked the supervisor to have his office call me but I was told there is no way the system can relay that message to the department involved. VIVINT will never be my choice for security!!! I can only hope they will stop charging me and return my payments soon.
