My car started making a noise, so I took it to the dealership hoping that the issue would be covered under warranty. The dealership informed me that two tires had holes in them and that they were not repairable. Since the car is AWD, they said I needed all new tires. The price tag for this was $1500 and 3+ days of waiting for the tires to come in. I called Grismer and explained the issue. I also explained that I could not go that long without a car. Despite a full schedule, they found the specialty tires at another Grismer store and transported them within the hour. When I arrived at Grismer, I reiterated what the dealership said and told them that I was able to drive the car since the tires had held air for 4 days after the sound started. Upon hearing this, they became suspicious and decided to take a quick look at the car. They immediately noted that the tires could very likely be repaired. They were able to fit my car in the same day and repair the tires. Total cost was less than $30. One tire was repaired and the other didn't even have a puncture. Grismer had every opportunity to lie and sell me all new tires. Even though their price was much less than the dealership, it was still over $1000. Instead of making the sale, they were honest. I could not be more pleased and will not hesitate to go back to the Grismer on Patterson for all my car needs.
