Wendy Price Review of Marrins Mooving

Marrin's moved our 4500 sq ft house into storage 5/2018 for 4 months. The move took longer than expected, even though we planned for 3-4 days of packing, it became extremely stressful on deadline day 5/31/18. The packing teams changed every day and no one really was in charge of making sure it was completed prior to the deadline. The last crew worked late into the evening to try to meet it.
Marrin's moved our belongings into our new home 10/2018 and the unpacking went much better. Charles Darby and Jarius Barnes were great to work with.
Our dining room hutch with beveled glass was missing (which is not replaceable), a TV/soundbar and other items. Another TV was broken. Missing surf board racks. We estimate we are due about $3,000 in lost/damaged items.
We paid $600 extra for additional insurance to protect against loss or damage. What a joke! I submitted claim forms and pictures of items 4/2019. We paid over $10,000 for moving / storage / insurance.
They sent a furniture repairman out 7/2019 to try to fix damaged furniture (wobbly tables, bent dining room leg, missing glass in end table.) He also validated the other claims on the form and asked for info to relay. The repair man's van was not working that day, so he had limited tools in the vehicle he used this day. The only thing he could repair was the stain on lexington bedroom dressers (it appeared the sun lightened portions of the wood top in certain areas on 2 dressers.) He was nice and did a great job on these 2 items.
No response since, even though we have emailed/called several times. Moving is stressful enough, but adding in the lack of urgency to meet the deadline move out date and now haggling to get reimbursed for damaged, missing, broken items is time consuming and irritating. I sent another email today, left another voicemail and am now posting this in hopes we might get a response.
