Nilmini was amazing! This was an unexpected, last-minute transaction that required prompt action on everything from getting our home staged and ready to be put on the market within a week, navigating the loan process, and dealing with a buyers side agent who was less than helpful. Nilmini did what I think an agent is supposed to do: provided us with the critical information and support we needed while buffering us from the stressful details that are just part of the buy-sell process but not things we needed to be stressed by. She was already scheduled to go on a family vacation halfway around the world and while she was gone she paired us with a professional and detail-oriented colleague who was able to take over the day-to-day issues, while Nilmini remained accessible to us for important matters.

The PorchLight platform and support network was also great. From developing beautiful marketing materials, to staffing open houses at short notices, and having colleagues willing to step in, the process was seamless from our end. We received fairly timely emails about open houses and though there were a few glitches issues were resolved and Nilmini was aware of what was happening and was able to provide us details of showings and numbers. I appreciated receiving periodic updates with dates/times/deadlines since it is easy for things to get lost in the inbox. And the on-line form platform was great and made it easy for us to sign documents when we were physically in different locations and at short notice, allowing negotiations to proceed quickly.

I would highly recommend Nilmini as an agent if you are looking for someone who can gracefully combine intelligence, detail orientation and business acumen with heart and a sense of purposefulness. As a personal homebuyer and seller, this was business but also an emotional event and I appreciated having an agent who could attend to both aspects of what we needed in big and small ways. This is more than a job for her - it is about helping land individuals and families in houses that will allow them to build the homes they want.
