The building is massive and well maintained. It holds paintings that are considered the zenith of talent in Art History. Paintings from masters such as DaVinci, Caravaggio, Bottecelli, Rubens, Bernini, Rembrant, Raphael and David are displayed here. Many works are held here to be appreciated and you would definitely need to return to see them all. It has as much security as the MET in NYC, where there is an officer in EVERY ROOM watching you. The guided tours you must pay for and prices are available on the Gallery's website. It is accessible to disabled patrons and has a lift (elevator) available for wheelchairs, strollers and people using walking sticks. Disabled patrons also have their own restrooms to use. Admittance is free but please do donate. The treasures inside are meant to be preserved so that future generations can be as fortunate as we are to witness them.
