Being my first home purchase, I was overwhelmed with the process. Matt, however, made the process simple, streamlined, and enjoyable. His team works together seamlessly to provide the best service for his clients. With his years of experience, he was able to point out aspects of properties that I would never have thought of. He knew the difference between every material within a property whether it was cheap or high end. He knew the planned developments around the properties (e.g., whether a building would block the view, whether developments around the area will likely raise the value, etc.), the history of the areas, and the potential of the properties. What stood out the most is that Matt cared more about finding the best place for me than the most expensive place, even though he was paid based off the purchase price (as is every agent). For example, he actually ended up convincing me that purchasing at the lower end of my price range, instead of the top, was a smarter idea since I would likely move within the next 5-7 years. While he would point out the positives of each place, he would also point out all the negatives. Additionally, as new to the city, he was able to provide me with excellent movers, painters, contractors, and everything you could think of making it a truly one-stop-shop. Even after closing, he has maintained contact to make sure everything is alright and to answer any questions I may have. In conclusion, I do not think there is a better agent in the city of Chicago. I know he will always be my one and only recommendation to all of my friends, and I will use him in my future sales and purchases.
