BUYER BEWARE! Go to any of the other 10 Toyota dealerships in DFW!

I had an appt at 10am on a Saturday for a lease buyout. My salesman, Will, called to confirm at 9:40am. When we arrived, he had left to get food knowing we were almost there. He made us wait for 15 minutes because he went to eat. At 10:15 he finally showed up with no apology for the wait. We saw him sneaking in the back with food. When a salesman told him, he motioned to the food and said give me a minute. Aren't you there to work not eat? My pregnant wife would have loved to eat during the marathon about to occur.
The process should have taken maybe an hour. I sold cars for 4 years. I know it doesn't take the 4 and a half hours they made me and my 6 month pregnant wife wait to buy our OWN lease back. All they needed was to run credit, carry over residual value, and send us to finance. It took an hour before we saw our first pencil. And they weren't busy at all. Employees standing around everywhere.

Then they tried to charge me more than my previous agreed residual value. On top of that, they charged $1500 for a used car inspection that is "state law". They did include 4 tires in this price. My issue, they charged me $800 for 4 cheap Federal brand tires. Online, they retail for around $50 each. I was a manager at discount tire for a year. No way they needed another $150 per tire for mount and balance, tire disposal fee. That is only $20 combined....I was heading to discount tire straight from here originally until they severely oveecharged me.

When I asked for a breakdown of the $1500, it added up to $1381(took 45 minutes for them to fake a printup of charges). When I asked why they charged me more, they reduced the $1500 "state law" fee to match $1381. Odd to anyone else? I can't negotiate the price of a state inspection each year but they can change state mandated fee prices?

Jay (finance) was the "closer". He is the rudest man I've met in the business. He treated us like a waste of his time. He also had no clue about our deal. He didn't even know it was a lease buyout until I told him as he is trying to present me the 2nd pencil.

After fighting with me for 3 pencils (offers from dealer), I was willing to accept a higher payment. I get to finance office and they had an extended warranty (straight profit) built in. They tried to be slick and almost force it on me. When they removed it, we were right at the payment I originally wanted. Why not give me what I wanted after wasting 3 hours on a simple lease buyout. I wasn't being unreasonable asking for a $325-350 payment on $18k financed. Do the math. Jesse(finance) lost all personality when we removed warranty. He wasn't making money, so we don't count as real people anymore.

They told me the car couldn't leave dealer without new tires first for safety reasons. That's how shoved the tire deal down my throat. Tires were to be changed and car inspected while we signed papers. We finished paperwork, had to wait another 30 minutes looking for Will with my keys.
He tells us we have to come back on Monday because they have have the tires in stock. Interesting that the car could suddenly leave now that I signed....
Long story short, they have no respect for your time. They don't listen. They will lie to you to get you to sign (what dealer won't) but they were excessive. Nobody could explain anything. They wasted 3 extra hours than needed.
Please just visit a different Toyota dealer for your needs. We had a great experience when we leased the Rav4 the first time 3 years ago.
