I don t typically write reviews online but this is a special case. I ve worked at Elements real estate for the past 2 months and for the first time in my life I can honestly say I enjoy what I do. Most people go their entire lives working their 9-5, feeling like they re wasting their life away. I, on the other hand, am fortunate enough to say my work is enjoyable and that it never feels like a chore. I no longer find it difficult to wake up in the am, I don t stare at the clock counting the minutes passing by, and I don t drag my feet waiting for the day to end.
Let me walk you through an average day working with my second family called Elements. First of all, it is impossible to have a bad day working here. Even if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed or your previous day was taxing everyone and I mean EVERYONE always has a smile on their face. And these aren t forced smiles, they re genuine smiles from good people who love the work they do. You can t have a bad day when the happiness surrounding you is so contagious.
Now you re probably wondering how can everyone in the company love what they re doing? Great question. Well this company is built on a foundation of 7 core values and core value number one is Do Good . This company focuses on helping others and by doing so, they ve created an environment where everyone s morals and values fall in line with one another. Knowing that everyone s morals within the company are in line, makes it that much easier to get along with your colleagues. Second, this company is VERY selective when it comes to their hiring process. They look for both a culture fit and a skill fit. You need to be positive, high energy, and sociable; but also hardworking, driven, and goal oriented. If you don t meet these criteria, this may not be the job for you.
Every morning we have a huddle . This is where everyone from every department gather and we discuss a certain motivational topic that is beneficial in all aspects of life. It may be time management, personal drive, goal setting, or how to be more productive But no matter the topic, it s always something that relates to the work place and also contributes to bettering your personal life. Starting your day with a motivational speech directly from the CEO not only shows you he s invested in his employees, but it also creates a positive environment which clearly boosts company morale.
If all this isn t enough, the final perk of working here is the free food! The office provides breakfast and snacks every day, so if you ever miss a meal or need to refuel; you can always head over to the kitchen.
TLDR; Elements harbors genuinely good people who love what they do. Work doesn t feel like a chore. Everyone here is a family. Free food.
