The hotel and room appearance and amenities were nothing special.

3. Overcharges and refunds:
Mine was a business stay through Microsoft and the room was paid by the company. However, the front desk charged my card for the stay and later I found that this is something they do quite often with business travelers.
I found that this is because they need a corporate card to charge which isn't there unless you call the company during checkout (doesn't seem like a great customer experience). I travel for business regularly at Marriott properties around the world and never experienced this issue.
Later, I called the property and Microsoft to sort this out and it was confirmed on phone by the hotel that my charges will be reversed. Interestingly, instead of the charges being refunded on my card, I was in fact charged a second time for the exact same amount ! When I called the customer service Marriott representative said there was no case opened the first time and even when she opened the case this time she refused to send me an email confirmation (citing it is not "normal operating procedure").
The latest is that the hotel property is now "looking" into it and have the case number but there may be nothing done over the "weekend" (surprising for a hotel property to not have working managers on weekend).
