Stay 2014 in summer was outstanding. Best location corner 4th Street. Very spacious room on the 31st with views over San Francisco, right next to Big Target Market for shopping

Good property conveniently located near Moscone Center. This hotel is very large, so it can get very crowded. The Concierge Lounge is good (not great).

Fantastic view of the city from the Lounge up top, would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the city. Drinks are a bit expensive and the service is a bit slow, but you're paying for the view

Beautiful landmark Marriott property in San Francisco. If not staying at the property at least get up to the 39th floor to see the fabulous views of the city and enjoy your favorite beverage.

Went up to the view on the top floor and was able to get some good sights of the city. Was pretty crowded though

Upscale hotel near moscone convention center. Target across the street. Some eating within walking distance. Cafe inside. Good security. Easy walk to BART system.

Very nice hotel, staying here for 3 nights, like the view from our room. Customer service is great, is currently under remodeling/ construction, I'm giving this a 2 star rating for the strike going on outside, I can hear it all the way from my room. This is very annoying and going outside this is so loud and can hurt your ears, louder than the construction which I was aware prior booking. They should always mention something on their website about the strike since has been right outside their hotel for about a month. They are using drums and amplifiers to make it even louder. This was supposed to be a nice gate away for my birthday with my wife, and her first time in San Francisco, spending time in union square. The strike is not only outside where I'm staying but all marriots hotels in San Francisco. This is so disappointed, cannot believe they havent resolved this matter. After all this is a great place to stay but would not recommend to stay here until they resolve the strikes issues.

Complimentary breakfast was not included, but the hotel itself was located very conveniently near restaurants within a walking distance

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location downtown, con is the expenseof this place; to give some perspective all the alcoholic drinks were at least $10. Top floor lounge has awesome view and is a grand experience. I consider this huge hotel a good place to stop when you're running around downtown, they have an internet lounge near the back of the lobby, couches everywhere, outlets galore, and free WiFi that you can watch YouTube with. Pleasant place

Central location within walking distance of many popular locations, dining, and shopping. Very busy hotel with great service and amenities.

The Marriott is another SF commodity hotel masquerading as a luxury accommodation. It substitutes 'look' for style and quality...at overblown prices.

Big room, but the place was musty. Good service, just would be nice to walk in to a refreshing room.

The bar on the 39th floor offers a stunning view of the city.

I would give a 6 star! The front desk guy upgraded me a room on the 34th floor! And the room was one of the best, with a big balcony kind of place with a nice sofa! And a really nice view!

This is an ideal location for business travelers. I stayed at this location during the Rwanda cultural day and I was impressed by their professionalism and attention to all details. Food is a little bit expensive to the portions served, but hey what do expect this is San Francisco. Definitely recommend it to business travelers and event organizers.

Went to The View (the bar on the top floor) on a Saturday night and it was great! Wasn't too busy, place was gorgeous and clean, and the drinks were good. Try to go up there on a day with no fog and the view from the bar will be phenomenal.

Catering was mediocre, no salt and pepper on tables and no water pitchers on tables. They were not very prepared for catering the convention.

Nice hotel, but the beds aren't very comfortable. They are very accommodating though and I've enjoyed my stay here. Although I will say the hallways are like a maze.

The location and room were great. During my visit there were protests happening outside which kept me from opening my window and made me feel uncomfortable coming in and out of the hotel. The protests were against this hotel. Overall, if that wasn't so weird when I arrived it would have been better. Also, I would like to note that they do not have a pool. It isn't listed as an amenity so it's not like I couldn't have looked that up, but it just wasn't great that I found that out once I got there.

I chose this location due to its proximity to the Moscone. Accommodations have been fairly well clean and kept. In the few interactions I have had with staff, they have been nothing but courteous, professional, and helpful. The fitness center seems impressive but underutilized. The View lounge at the 39th floor has impressive panoramic views of the SF Bay area, and seems so popular as to be difficult to find seating within it many times. My only real gripe is with the toilet paper provided, which did not seem to me to be commensurate with the rest of the lodging experience and prices charged. My employer is paying for the stay; perhaps my feedback might be different if my own money was involved. I would indeed return, if someone else was paying.

Near to Bart station, pretty clean and organized, Service Great.

Business focused all the way. Wouldn't stay here for family trips.

It is located near Union square which is really close to all the shopping places and such. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are decently modern and the beds are comfortable. The room service is fast and there are many options. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is very close to Moscone center for having nice meeting in GDC!

Over all a solid hotel, staff is friendly, rooms are nice, and tons of space for conferences.

Pros: good location, nice restaurants, cons: poor soundproofing of the room, overpriced

My husband was there for a conference and we added a night prior to the other 2 nights that the district paid for. They charged us for all 3 nights and said they couldn't change it. We would have to wait. The paperwork my husband signed showed only 1 night but we were charged for all 3. It was close to $1000 when it was supposed to be $199.

Loved this resort. Superior recommendations from the concierge. Very tidy, organized, and a super comfortable bed. Fantastic place to the majority of things. Lobby was enjoyable and test in-check out eloquent even though we came very late due to flight Issues

I like the hotel, but I expected better facilities.

The Marriott Marquis in San Francisco is in the heart of the city with some really amazing views. It's a bit of an older hotel but still has all the required amenities and some really spacious rooms. It also has a really well equipped gym for those of you who are looking to get in a workout while staying here

Nice hotel! Noisy because of the protest, however. Would not recommend staying here until it is over.

The stay was very pleasant. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Excellent hotel. Went there for open world. The meeting and conference rooms were really nice, and we'll maintained. The restaurant and bars inside are also great. Good staff and and plenty of options.

Awesome hotel. Great views from the top floor bar. The 24 hour lounge for elite members is a perfect spot also.

The hotel is nice and clasay. I do however have a complaint about some of their services. The Internet is very expensive and was promised to be free as a convention attendee. I was charged. The gym also charged for use of the sauna. I believe this to be uneeded charges. The room was clean but the chair was visibly worn. Overall satisfactory experience but confused aboUT the added charges.

Went to get drinks at The View, which is the cocktail bar at the top. Got a great seat with an awesome view. Downside is people keep coming up behind you to take pictures and it almost always has flash. Drinks were decent but definitely on the pricey side.

Just stayed for the night. Didn't face any issues. Its like a typical Marriot. Breakfast service is excellent, lot of options and friendly staff.

I came here to have a couple drinks with coworkers. Service was friendly, drinks are excellent and priced as one would expect in SF. In general, pleasant ambiance.
