The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is the WORST university I have ever attended. I hold a bachelorette degree and have been in college for 5 years at two other schools and have never had a worse experience with another college or university. I got accepted provisionally for the MBA program and was told I was all set to go to start my summer semester. My classes were dropped due to my financial aid not going through in time yet I was told it was fine. I could not add the class back and I had already completed school work for said class on Braveweb. Had I known this was going to be an issue I would have set up a payment plan but again, I was new and was told everything was taken care of. I missed two months of school due to an issue that was not my fault and was repeatedly told, there is nothing we can do. Fast forward to two months later when I was in my second class. I did not receive a financial aid refund even though I had paid for books out of pocket due to the fact that my classes were split into two eight weeks. The low prices of tuition are not worth the hassle, you get what you pay for!!!The faculty misinform students on policies and every faculty seems to have a different answer when you call. Even though the staff are nice they are not helpful in the least! Choose a different university when planning your college experience. Also, the dorms are extremely over priced and are ran down for the money they are charging these students. It is a complete waste of time and money.
