Charlotte Swim Academy Review

Charlotte Swim Academy is a wonderful place to help children be confident in the water, and learn how to swim. The teachers and staff are always very kind and pleasant. A great place to start your children in the water, and build on great water skills. I would highly recommend Charlotte Swim Academy.

We have been going here on and off for 2 years. Its an ok place but completely useless if you ever need to call them for anything. It doesn't matter what time of day, no one picks up and it goes to a general answering machine that just tries to push you to their website. They should save their money and just remove their phone system entirely. Extremely frustrating....

My son has so much fun every week at his lesson! Everyone is friendly and the facility is always clean! I can't say enough good things about Charlotte Swim Academy!

From ownership to employees to the private bathrooms, you can tell this is an establishment that truly cares about the experience of teaching your child swimming. I am amazed daily at my son's ability at 2.5 YEARS OLD !!!!...all because of the Charlotte Swim Academy. They do not just teach your child to "doggy paddle" and thrash in the water but instead, teach them float based techniques, buoyancy, and recovery skills. I love that goals are set for my son every single session with a results driven approach in mind.

As a family we have had the best experience at Charlotte Swim Academy! One of the last few boutique style of swim schools out there and the owner and director are all about building personal relationships. They are always present for direct contact as well as checking in to see how much progress we as parents see in the water. What I love most about the swim school is the scheduling, they DO NOT have a hand in your checking account and drawing money out every month. You sign up for the session you want and pay for it. If you need to cancel there isn't some 30 day notification process. Most other swim schools in Charlotte have become franchised and corporate, meaning all about the numbers. Not Charlotte Swim Academy. Like I said before this is a boutique style of swim school for children and we have had a fantastic experience with my 2.5 year old (who is swimming by himself). There isn't a high turn over rate with the teachers here, so you truly get familiarized with all the staff. If you are ready for a change where you feel appreciated as a customer and want to see progress for your little swimmer then do not waste another dollar at any other swim school!!

I could not be more pleased with my experience at the Charlotte Swim Academy. The lessons are excellent. The teachers are all so kind and engaged with their students. The owner and office staff are diligent and it really seems that they have the absolute best for each student in mind. 5 stars without a doubt. Would recommend to all.

Both of my children have taken lessons at Charlotte Swim Academy. The Swim Academy taught my son to be a strong and confident swimmer. My 4 year old is already swimming under water. The staff are competent and caring. The owner is very hands on and does an excellent job managing her business. Whenever someone mentions they are thinking about swimming lessons for their kids I always drop a plug for the Swim Academy.

This place is not worth it. The first thing you should know is there is NO refunds. Even if you change your mind a day afterwords you will not get a refund. Also if you miss a class due to any emergency, oh well. They do not answer the phone. They also time by the second. They could be running a minute or two late but guess what the owner has a huge chip on her shoulder and she counts every single second of teaching. She also is very ruff to her employees. If they go over the time by any amount they are reprimanded. Its said that this place has 5 stars. Total waste of money. Go somewhere else.

Both of my grandbabies took lessons. Every one there was wonderful & friendly. Wonderful place.

What a great place for little ones to learn to swim ! I attend my grandson's lessons there often and love seeing him having such a good time - his teachers are always so sweet and gently direct him. He has been in the water since he was a wee one and is now 2.5 and loves his time in the water ! The facility - playroom, showers, pool and changing areas are very clean. The staff are always smiling, and friendly.

A wonderful, clean, safe and child friendly place for children to learn how to swim properly. I have personally known dozens of children swimming thru this program and it is hands down the best facility in Charlotte~! Water safety at its finest so thankful that children including my grandson are learning the best way to swim and have a love for the water~!

Our daughter has been going to CSA for about 3 years now, and has grown so much in their program. Within the first 6 months she was independent enough to swim on her own in the pool and lakes - of course with us close by. The teachers care, and now - 3 years in - our daughter is a great swimmer, all thanks to CSA.

Our two girls, 5 and 4, learned more here in a 20 minute lesson then they did all last year at other swim clubs. I was honestly in shock at how fast they learned and wished we had not wasted last summer at the other swim place. We did the three week rapid response where they go four times a week for 20 minute sessions, works great. You can really see how one on one instruction benefits the learner exponentially.

We love the Charlotte Swim Academy! The facility is very clean, the teachers are fantastic at working with any swimmer's skill level and the owner is very involved and helpful with all of her swim families. Their attention to detail for each child's swimming need is spot on. Our son started there afraid to put his face in the water. Now he can swim all 4 competitive strokes and is a capable, confident swimmer. We highly recommend the swim academy. Their program is the best in the city!
