I ve rented from Airbnb dozens of times with a total stay of multiple months... The one time you ever get a place that s not as advertised you ll regret it.. they hold the customers responsible for the bill and not the property owner... it s been 2 months I ve been trying to get back what they promised over a call (the other 50% $600+ of our reservation that we had to stay the first night through)... that $600+ is 50% of all the nights we didn t stay after being promised it would be refunded.. even after jumping through all the hoops of email documentation that took hours.. They don t have much competition yet so their customer service is horrible when it s time to deal with real concerns and issues that their customers face
