I rarely give one star in any review I write, but in this case I must. I moved two homes into one using Marrins' Moving. I had a good experience with the guys who moved our belongings and I paid on the spot - no questions asked. There were a couple of dings here and there, but that happens. I did find that an 8' ladder was missing after the move and a canvas painting had been torn. I brought these two issues to the attention of Marrins' and they asked us to submit a claim and said they would be happy to take care of it. That was back in May 2019 and it is now November and not only have they not taken care of the claim, they continue to tell us the check is in the mail. How much is the claim? It is for a whopping $80.00 for the ladder and we are out of luck on the painting, which we had for years, because they won't cover its replacement. The $80.00 for the ladder is not the issue, it is the way they treat their customers. The check is in the mail! I called three times to talk with Tammy, who I believe is the owner, and "she is in a meeting" and has never given me the courtesy of a return call.

The only reason I am writing this review is to say that it is unfortunate that a company will not take care of an $80.00 claim and loss of a piece of artwork that is worth about $500.00 at most. Think about how they handle claims of much higher value.
