If you are looking for a studio with the worst possible customer service, then this is the place for you!

I'll split this review into two parts:
The instructors that I had here- Melissa, Allison, Rick and David, I really enjoyed and thought they were great.

Now for the second part- I don't like to give bad reviews, but I also don't like how a situation was handled by the management. One night, after a late Bikram class, I had changed and left my yucky workout clothes in a bag on a bench in the locker room, honest mistake. I called as soon as I got home and spoke to Kristin, who told me no problem, I can come in the next day to get them. Around noon the following day, I stop in and one of the girls, Nicole said yes, they were in the back. She returned with my top, but my $80 leggings were nowhere to be found. Nicole called Kristin while I was there, and Kristin said that she had put both top and bottoms in the washer and dryer together. This really bothered me, as these leggings are not cheap. Nicole gave me the manager's name, and I call later that day and leave a message for her. Amanda, the manager, calls me the next day, says she's asked around, and no one knows what happened to the leggings, she doesn't know what else to do.I inform her that I would like the leggings replaced- I was told that they were both there, now the inexpensive top is here, but the leggings are gone. Amanda gets back to me two days later and informs me that there is nothing on their end they can do, that have never had a situation like this before, any expensive gear they find they keep behind the desk for safe keeping ect. Yet, another girl who was working with Nicole the day I went to get my things tells me that recently she had also left an expensive top behind the desk after a class, only to come back to work a few days later and it was gone. Huh. Amanda then goes on to tell me that Kristin must have misspoken, the clothes she said were mine weren't. I had two weeks left on my yoga pass, and I told Amanda that I no longer felt comfortable coming in to practice there, with the theft of my belongings and her way of handling the situation. She replies back with a curt, "Sorry you feel that way."
Yes, I am sorry- sorry that I no longer have a place to practice Bikram, as Anchorage doesn't offer much, sorry I was screwed out of the remaining two weeks of my yoga pass, sorry that I took the staff at their word, and I am sorry that some one was so ugly as to steal something that clearly was not theirs.
Very upsetting and strange situation, with the conflicting stories I received from the staff here at Anchorage Yoga.

Update: The day after I posted my review, a staff member, Rachel, called me to apologize for the frustration I felt with this situation. While my pants haven't been found, she assured me that if they did, she would let me know. She also offered me a free week of classes, which I did decline, but I appreciated her reaching out.

**UPDATED 1/20/16

I received an email from one of the owners, Joshua Love, who had been out out town and didn't become aware of the situation until he returned. He generously offered to replace my pants and five free classes. I am very grateful and impressed how he handle this issue and appreciate it so much!
