A trip to Amsterdam is not complete without a visit to the Anne Frank House, especially not if you're remotely interested in history! The queues are long, but don't let that put you off! Book in advance if you can - but tickets sell out months in advance. We didn't book and waited in the queue, it looked like it would take hours upon hours, but we were actually inside buying tickets in about half an hour! Museum is very well done, the appropriate amount of explanation and a chance to reflect and absorb the story. Especially loved the end part with all the notes and pictures and videos of people talking about how Anne Frank's story has affected them
