My husband bought a 2012 Buick Enlcave with 65,000+ miles on it for a little over $14,000. They talked him into GAP insurance and an extended bumper to bumper warranty both totaling $2900. It s was supposed to have remote start and Bluetooth. Neither works. Father s Day weekend the air stopped working and when he took it in to Pearson s they said it would be $1500 to fix. Now this could have been a claim for the extended warranty but the mechanic insisted that it was a design flaw and that my husband needed to either pay to have it fixed or call Buick GM and let them know that the steering column caused the break in the air conditioner pipe. Well once he called he found out that not only is there no design flaw that could cause this damage but that they sold my husband a BRANDED title! This was not disclosed at all. Capital One wound have never financed the vehicle if it was. On July 11 Pearson s Honda was told of this finding and who told it to him. Once I pulled the history on the car we found out the odometer had been tampered with. The manager said he would call back the next day. TODAY IS JULY 19 AND NO ONE HAS CALLED TO STRAIGHTEN ANYTHING OUT. My husband was sold a car based on the year and mileage on a car. They even add the Kelly Blue Book estimated value. When I put the industry standard (miles per year) the car is only worth half what they sold it for. Now I m getting the state and Capital One auto finance involved because it s fraud.
