I had a laproscopy done to remove and diagnose endometriosis cysts. My surgeon was Dr. Grover and my anesthesiologist was Dr. Harrison. Dr Harrison was such a blessing to have as my anesthesiologist. Struggling with severe anxiety and ptsd from a bad experience as a child made it extremely difficult to go through with the surgery, especially when my operating head nurse was rough and harsh with me when rolling me into the operating room. My anxiety quickly began to get out of control with the nurse until I saw and heard that Dr. Harrison was there at the foot of my bed to comfort and console me before the surgery. He made sure to reconfirm my fears and set them at ease like we talked about earlier in the prep room. I felt safe, cared for, trusting that he had more genuine concern for my mental well being than some of the other staff that I had met. I can't thank him enough for being there waiting at the foot of my bed in the operating room. It made a world of difference. My recovery nurse Misha was a miracle and darling as well. She actually cares about me and showed genuine love and concern making sure I was not in discomfort or pain. I can't thank them enough
