Nice quiet area. Near the Paterswoldse lake within walking distance. Just below the city of Groningen. Also sweet service. Not old fashioned but has something classic. I like.
But very poor kitchen and very limited menu. With every dish we had the same soggy vegetables and fried potato flavors. It even seemed like it was a bite from the previous day. The butterfish was flavored but also dry. The following night I started puking and diarrhea because of spoiled fish. Well. I have been warned. We filed the complaint with the waiter who wrote everything down and advised us to put our finding about the very mediocre kitchen in the guestbook.
All in all nice rooms, nice environment but dinner bad. Breakfast is adapted and sufficient.
