We saw As you Like it at an evening performance after an afternoon of thunderstorms and torrential rain. The performance was excellent and the atmosphere generated by the old Elizabethan theatre layout was really close. The benches are exceedingly hard and the cushion hire is certainly a must. Blankets are also available. Drinks and food can be bought from the stalls in the theatre grounds. We were warm enough with fleece and jacket and long trousers but I wouldn't risk smart theatre attire. Standing area seems to accept last minute admissions.
