I was pregnant in 2012 with invisalign, so no x-rays. I went for the first appointment with Dr Schuler. I think the doctor is fine, he seemed to know his stuffs (very qualified) but some tensions or no sync between him and his assistant or the assistant seems slow and could not catch up to the doctor. Not sure, she took good notes of what the doctor said. I got charged about $130 (don't remember exactly how much but for sure more than $124) for photo pictures of my missing tooth and surroundings. Not sure if those photos are necessary if insurance won't pay for it. Way overpriced otherwise if they want to compare or show us the before and after. They said to wait after delivery and invisalign done so they can do x-rays and do implant. I scheduled for the next appointment for after baby is out of me but I postponed twice until I completely cancelled it. Why? I could not get an answer from the office if after the implant procedure, I would need to take antibiotics which would suppress my milk supply for my baby. I have asked the receptionist to ask the doctor, or any doctor in that office. Of course, she did not ask. She said no, no antibiotics. I asked if she is sure. Nope, not sure. It is only her opinion. It should take no more than 1 minute for a doctor to answer a yes/no question. I think that office is more money hungry than caring for its customer. Yes, they might be good. Yes, I got a predetermination and pre-authorization from dental insurance, still all leaning toward making fast profit than caring for my concern. I understand business, you need to make money as a business but if you make your customer happy, they will give the business and maybe bring you more businesses. Now, 2015, I still don't have my implant, so I am shopping elsewhere. Sad I wasted $125 ish for pictures. This is my experience. I could still go to them, but don't want to pay another $$$$ for new pictures.
