The bad reviews for this hospital are from people who are frustrated by having to wait for care in the ER. I have been to the ER and waited many hours, but that is typical for an ER unless you are literally dying. That is what triage is for. They are dealing with gun shots, auto accidents, and trauma back there, so yes, unfortunately your 6 year old with a slight fever is not number one priority.

I had to deliver a stillborn baby at this hospital and was treated with nothing but dignity and care. The staff was excellent, and helped my family each and every step of the way. That was 2 years ago now, and I am 5 months pregnant again. I refuse to go to any other hospital for labor and delivery. They have a level 3 NICU, and that is very important. A heart felt thank you to all the nurses and doctors who helped me through a terrible time.
