An excellent stay in the midst of the Covid outbreak. We stayed here in June 2020 for our mini-moon following our small wedding. Despite the fire alarm going of in the middle of the night, unhelpful spa staff and outdated rooms, we found the hotel comfortable and quiet. We called the spa several times to book a service and they never called us back. We had to finally walk to the door and they gave us a real attitude. It would be helpful to have better communication from the spa with guests as well as more genuine and kind service. Once we had our couples massage the service took a change and was excellent.

Nevertheless, the hotel grounds were immaculate and close to many bike paths, wineries and restaurants.

PRO TIPS:
Unplug your noisy mini-fridge otherwise will hum all night
The beds are very comfortable and quiet
Book a reservation at the Barking Frog
Walk the grounds to locate the truffle pigs
Bring your own wine/blanket & sit for hours at one of the many outdoor gas fireplaces
