It s all very new and clean, and was a fantastic home for our 5-day stay in Auckland! This is a perfect hotel for those looking to explore many different areas of Auckland while still being able to pop by the hotel to freshen up for dinner, grab a jacket and/or drop off your treasures.

It s right on Queen Street, so while that means that it has the potential to be loud sometimes, it also was extremely convenient to be right in the middle of everything just by walking out the doors of the hotel. It s right on the Sky Bus route from the airport, and you can walk to Mt Eden, the Ferry Building or any of the close neighborhoods of Auckland. K Road is 10 minutes away with great bars and restaurants that are a bit less touristy (expensive) but you can also be on the water in 15 minutes walking the opposite direction.

The rooms aren t super big, but the beds are very comfortable and the windows are tinted to protect jet lagged sleepers. They also have free premium movies, as good as what you could find on your flight over.

The breakfast is fantastic, and as a Plat was included in our stay.

The gym is fine - 2 treads, 2 ellipticals, a bike and various weights.
