If you can buy tickets in advance, it's probably the most I've ever recommended to do so!! If you don't have a ticket the house is open from 3.30pm onwards - but I arrived without a reservation at 2.45 and the line was already around the block! I didn't get in until almost 5pm - so please take that recommendation seriously!! Haha.
The actual Anne Frank House itself is... well, I don't know how to describe it. Truly mind blowing - it's something else to be so close to the way they must have experienced life... it's been designed very well and has numerous languages on display; it's a must see in Amsterdam, no matter how chilling it may be to imagine life in that way!
