I had an auto accident that broke my tibia in three pieces. The ER took me in less than 5 minutes as a priority. The trauma orthopedic surgeon treated me with pain killer and spline etc. Since there was no blood or cut outside, internal bleeding required 10 days as involuntary immobilization. Then one surgery and few more days in the hospital. I had a second surgery after a few days and rehab in the meantime.

During that stay, I was in 4 North wing. Wow! What staff! Each and every nurse and the CNA's treated me like I am their family member. Since I was totally immobile, EVERY little thing (need/want) had to be attended by the CNA. Never once did they show a frowned face. They smiled all the time. This is not something most people experience, but my 14 days stay was well attended by the people on the floor 24/7.

My wife stayed overnight during Nov~ Dec. time. One night she was sleeping then a CNA came into the room and put and an extra blanket on her without waking her up! She was absolutely taken by such kindness.

Our sincere thanks to the staff at 4 North. Keep up the good work.
