Kyle Smith Review of BMW of Devon

Took my car in for repair, ended up paying $1,000 for a new expansion tank and thermostat. High, but expected. Service advisor, Charlotte, was very courteous and professional, even when I called in a bad mood. She was great!
Less than fifty miles after picking my car up, same problem happened. This time it was the water pump so they told me "same symptoms, different cause." If the system were pressure tested, however, wouldn't the pump have been identified as being faulty? But I digress.
Decide to have a different shop repair it for a fraction of the cost. Mechanic tells me the two fans need replaced. Take it into BMW of Devon and they tell me the same thing. Quote me $430 and $878 in parts, plus another $1,000 in labor. Fool me once...
I declined the repairs, look up the parts on the official BMW North America website, factory sealed, genuine BMW, 2 year warranty, etc. What do I find? $130, not $430, and $400, not $878. I called to complain and they gave me a non-answer by saying "they try to stay competitive and every shop is different." Yet, I called 6 separate shops in the area. Every single shop gave me a quote with parts pricing around FMV--significantly lower than this shop's quote. Every. Single. One.
Absurd premiums!! They've been reported to BBB several times already, see for yourself! Never again will I waste so much money.
