Honestly. I don t write reviews, ever. But i kind of feel like I have to with this one - I have lived in Portland for five years, mainly off of Alberta and I was under the impression the bike coop was one of the best places to get a bike if you re low income in this city (which I am) and BOY have I been proven wrong every.single.time I have been in here. The staff is insanely rude, condescending and the last time I was here, when I asked to test ride a bike, one of the people working there literally wouldn t let me test ride it - saying the frame wasn t my size, when it s the exact same frame size of my old bike and insisted on me trying a bunch of bikes that were uncomfortable and didn t really work for me. I was really desperate for a means of transportation so I bought the one the staff member had insisted on me getting - only to take it home and ride it for a longer test ride and realize the frame was too small and the bike was crazy uncomfortable - it was then I realized I couldn t return it as they sold it to me AS IS without mentioning it while I was paying for it. I know it was dumb of me to buy the bike but I need one to get to my job and I felt pressured into the purchase and not heard AT ALL. I couldn t even test ride the ones I wanted to.

Anyway. I m never coming back here and I m super bummed because my impression of this place has been completely ruined.
