My heater stopped producing heat. I called Clarke & Rush and Zach came out on 12/21/2017. I was given a quote of 4658.00 with no guarantee that the system would function after this work was completed. It was recommended to me that I replace the entire system. In the quote I was quoted 696.00 for a gas valve that I was able to purchase for 79.00 and install myself. The system has been working perfectly since then. I was told that someone would call me to provide me a quote on an entire system replacement. As of today 2/7/2018 no one has called me. I feel like they try and tell you so much is wrong with your system so they can sell you a new one. They also way over charge for repairs. See the included quote and look up replacement part costs and compare. The part I replaced took 45 min. At 79.00 my cost, their price 696.00. That's 617.00 for 45 min of labor.
