I bought a green onyx from pandit of our local are...

I bought a green onyx from pandit of our local area and i got good results but he suggested to wear an emerald to get great results. I bought the emerald and Iolite from gem pundit but after wearing of the emerald around 3 months i didn't see any positive result. So yesterday i was decided to verify this emerald is original or not. So when i focused more on the bottom part of the stone, i found that the emerald was broken and pasted by some glue. I don't know how can it break from the bottom? and how can it automatically pasted by a glue. I never took this stone out of my finger
