The airport has been a disaster for parking for almost 2 years. The former large parking lot is being rebuilt. A parking garage at the same location will probably follow. As a result, there are no short-term parking options. A passenger can therefore only be picked up or brought in alternating on the fly. Parking for half an hour to bring someone and say goodbye is not possible at the moment.
The security check is very strict. Even obviously severely disabled people have to undergo an almost degrading procedure here. Even when they were standing in front of the body scanner.
Be careful when approaching. There are construction sites on the M0 motorway. This section is supposed to be three lanes. My last traffic jam was 3 hours. I only drive to the airport from the city center. This is tedious but more predictable.
