My husband and I purchased a Subaru Forester back ...

My husband and I purchased a Subaru Forester back when Ogden Subaru was in business. They were great to work with. We traded the Forester in for another one in 2013 at Young Subaru and noticed that their service wasn t so red hot. Every time we went in, appointment or anything pertaining to the car, service has been less than stellar (an attitude like we weren t good enough to purchase a Subaru).

Fast forward to today and my husband had received a phone call yesterday to go in and test drive an Ascent today at 4:45. He told the salesman that he had all three kids by himself and said it would be tricky, but the salesman said he could get them in and out pretty quickly.

Since I am currently out of town, my husband got all three kids into the car (imagine trying to wrestle three cats) and drove to the dealership. He showed up on time and the salesman was with someone else. Both Ascents were occupied so he had to wait over 20 minutes. Another salesman came over to see what my husband needed and he said he had an appointment to test drive the Ascent at 4:45. The salesman said that they were really busy, and asked if he could wait a bit longer. He then looked and saw there was an Ascent ready to test drive. Apparently the salesman had my husband come over and check it out, but another couple had beat him to the punch. I don t know, did they have an appointment that was earlier? Why in the heck would the salesman not let my husband know that they were behind after he was assured that he would contact my husband if they were behind? By this time, my husband was super ticked off at the kids for going crazy, but even more furious with the fact that he was forced to wait even longer. There was zero way he could wait any longer to test drive the car. My husband left and called Nate Wade. They re much easier to work with.

We love Subarus. However, there is no way on this green earth that Young Subaru deserves our business. Their customer service has always been terrible. I guess we will go to Nate Wade Subaru, or we can just go to Ken Garff Honda and buy a Pilot. At least we know it won t have any kinks to work out as a new model on the market. Besides, their salespeople are nicer.
