Both of my children, a 13-year old girl, and an 11-year old boy, have gone to Camp Lohikan for two summers in a row, and I've already signed them up for 2016. They LOVE it. It's a very impressive camp. It's not one of those really fancy camps, where the kids have expensive clothes and the girls always have makeup on, but it's got a staggering number of activities -- more than 65, from the standards (archery, lakefront, ATVs, gaga) to the more obscure (geocaching?). The children over a certain age get to choose their activities every day, and can vary their schedules each morning if they are in the mood to do something different. My son was 9 when he first went there, and he felt so comfortable. He's not a super-confident kid, so it was an amazing experience for him. We have the utmost confidence in the camp staff, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a co-ed camp.
